This label is to highlight the biggest cave in the world made from rocks and gypsum and the 25th in the world as length – is “Emil Racoviţă” cave. 

In the karst gaps are over 20 lakes with mineral salts water.

Every underground hall and gallery are padded with fine clay of different shades, due to the random mineralization: green, blue, red, black or white. The ceilings and the walls look like mosaics, due to the process of the gypsum’s crystallization

The majority of the halls have the vaulted ceiling in gothic style, with the height of approximately 11 meters. The width of the tunnels is 30-40 meters large, and the length may vary between 60 and 100 meters.

In the waiting hall are 11 columns which support the ceiling, one of which is washed at the base and does not reach the ground almost a meter.
